Breaking Bad fanatics went through a major heart breaking phase when it was announced that the series would finally end on 2013. On a lighter note however, The Independent reported that a pop-up bar would open in London on July of this year! It is said that the bar was conceptualized based on the series, giving its costumer a nostalgic relapse from their well-loved series.
The series ran from 2008 to 2013, in a span of 5 years the series had 5 seasons and a total of 62 episodes. The story revolved around the terminally ill chemistry teacher- Walter White which was played by Bryan Cranston and his former student Jesse Pinkman played by Aaron Paul. The two teamed up to cook meth to support Walter's family and pay his medical bills; he however got recognized by famous drug cartels all over the place.
The Pop up bar is set to open on July 24, 2015. As reported by Buzzfeed, the mini bar set up would be called ABQ which was in reference of the show's setting in Albuquerque, New Mexico. ABQ is bought to London by the organizers that bought then Annie the Owl Bar- which was later on closed due to the potential harm that would be bought to the animals, but they later on changed cocktails into smoothies to ensure animal safety.
The pop up bar would be set up on an RV, replicating the vehicle where Walter and Jessie would cook meth; the costumers, however, would be able to cook their own cocktail concoction as well. The RV set up could only hold up to 20 people in the amount of £30 for a 2 hour session inside the RV which was set up like a chemistry lab filled with meth laboratory equipment.
