Startup company Z Camera seems to be a great contender against other live action cameras like GoPro and Panasonic. Z Camera created the E1, another live action camera that boasts equally great features.
The Z Camera E1 carries a 16-megapixel camera sensor, and has a low-light ability in addition to its 3D noise filtration system. It also "supports Cinema 4K/24p, 25p, UHD 4K/30p and 1080/60p, 50p.
But what sets the E1 apart from the likes of GoPro and Panasonic is its Micro Four Thirds lens mount - which is interchangeable. It's the first live action camera that can handle "third party lenses, including optically stabilized ones," as per cnet.com.

In addition to its wide array of shoot settings, the camera also features a 3.5mm audio jack, a DC power jack, a Micro-USB port, and a ¼-20 tripod mount.
The genius behind the startup company, Z, is Jason Zhang. The Las Vegas-based company founder has also worked with GoPro and Amberella, which is the developer of the chipset for GoPro, among others.
The camera also bears an "in-house developed tracking contrast autofocus system" in addition to its Amberella A9 chip and Panasonic image sensor. In fact, the Panasonic image sensor gives the E1 the ability to shoot video up to ISO 102400.
Not only that, but up to three E1 cameras can also be controlled through an app available in both Android and iOS versions with the help of Wi-Fi or Bluetooth.

According to the Z E1 Camera Kickstarter page, the project has already received 299 backers, in addition to a $176,545 pledge - going way beyond its $42,000 goal.
Z's E1 Camera has already started production, although shipping will be in practically three months (November). The E1 costs $699 for the body. Z also offers an E1 kit complete with a Panasonic 14mm f2.5 lens, which sells for $999.
