The past few months have seen the star of "Inside Amy Schumer" turn into one of the hottest comedic acts right now, from opening for Madonna at Madison Square Garden all the way to packing up a few Emmy nods this week - but Amy Schumer's "Star Wars" cover has seemingly made some very powerful people very angry.
The latest QG magazine cover features Amy Schumer in "Star Wars," or better said, a very particular and raunchy version of the universe created a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away, where she's basically having a very wild night with the likes of Chewbacca, R2D2 and C3PO - and Disney's far from happy.

According to io9, Disney's response came from the official Twitter "Star Wars" account, after users complained about Amy Schumer's "Star Wars" cover using the likeness of some of the most iconic characters in the universe where Jedi Knights are a force to be reckoned with - and Lucasfilm's stand was quite clear.
"Lucasfilm & Disney didn't approve, participate in or condone the inappropriate use of our characters inthis manner," tweeted the account to a user who had complained about Amy Schumer's "Star Wars" spread, where she's shown participating in some provocative scenes with the characters.

Entertainment Weekly reports the context of Lucasfilm and Disney's response to Amy Schumer's "Star Wars" photo shoot, and it seems like there were many fans of the saga (which is aimed at all ages) that were directly complaining to the people who now own George Lucas' universe, but they've set the record straight: there was absolutely no involvement on their part.
Variety spoke to a Lucasfilm rep, who specified that they had never been contacted about the use of the characters in the photo shoot, but that they weren't surprised that GQ would use the very popular likeness of C3PO, R2D2 and Chewbacca for the shoot.

While fans of the comedienne are loving Amy Schumer's "Star Wars" photo shoot, it seems like this is not the cover Disney was looking for.
