Diplo is a DJ and music producer who has worked with Madonna and Justin Bieber. Last November, he posted on tweeter, 'Someone should make a kickstarter to get Taylor Swift a booty.' Of course, it sparked a range among Taylor Swift fans and a celebrity feud to boot.
In a recent Rolling Stone interview, Diplo explains, 'I'm doing jokes and people take it seriously'. Apparently, Diplo and Swift met at the Grammy's and described the singer as super nice and cool.
While he was being fresh on the A-list multi-awarded singer, he only had good words to say about his other clients, Madonna and Justin Bieber. He worked with Madonna on her recent record and Diplo wants her to succeed. He says that other people think Madonna is so old, so gone, and they bring her down but he defends the Queen of Pop, 'she created the world we live in'. He talked about the concerts of Madonna with tickets all sold out in just minutes.
If you are not a Beiber fan, Diplo is. He worked with the teen sensation and Skrillex in the song 'Where are You Now'. He waves off Bieber's bad boy antics saying he is young, he is rich. But he professes admiration for the Bieb who is better than him in the basketball court, and in playing drums. He describes him also as respectful.
Diplo seems to have good words for music industry's bad girl and bad boy, but is a bully to good girls. And Tayor Swift is a good girl. She is a singer, a songwriter and a philanthropist. She has had 40 million albums sold, and has earned awards as both singer and songwriter. She is an activist and supports various causes including human rights, arts and education. She has been lauded by First Lady Michelle Obama for her efforts.
