Following the news of Chris Brown's new mansion in Los Angeles, his new home was robbed by three armed men in masks who reportedly forced their way inside the house and held Brown's aunt as a hostage while ransacking for valuables, according to reports.
On Wednesday, July 15, the 26-year old R&B star was not home and the seemingly planned robbery took place at around 2 A.M, police officer Liliana Preciado stated.
Chris Brown along with some friends, went to the Citrus Ridge Drive in Bentley around 4 A.M, two hours after the crime happened, to report the incident.
Preciado also added that the criminals left the house with a big amount of cash, electronic gadgets and personal items of the singer.
Pointing robbery as the only intention, Brown's aunt was not hurt but was locked up in a closet as the suspects were doing the crime. Reports say that as the authorities arrived at the area, they didn't know how long she was left inside the closet.
The alleged thieves were described as black men fully armed with handguns and bandanas covering their faces.
As for the investigation of the robbery incident, the finding of the suspects are still ongoing. The detectives were canvassing around Brown's gated property and found out that it has a built-in video security system.
"We're trying to see if there's any video evidence that might have picked up the suspects," Lieutenant Kirk Kelly said.
This is not the first time that the 'Ayo' singer's home was robbed, a few months back, Brown drove home in Agoura Hills, where he found his house totally ransacked and vandalized.
Reports said that the singer pointed out an alleged intruder, the 21-year old Amira Kodcia Ayeb, who was lying in his bed naked.
"I get home and find this crazy individual in my house," Brown said.
After Brown shared in social media that the alleged stalker went inside his house, cooked in his kitchen and vandalized "I love you" on the walls of the house and his cars, Ayeb was eventually charged with three felonies.
Chris Brown is reportedly preparing for the launching of his seventh studio album. The still-untitled album of which 'Liquor' will be the lead single, is expected to be released this fall season.
