When fans first heard Jidenna's 'Classic Man,' everyone notice that the music bears resemblance to Iggy Azalea's 'Fancy,' which dominated the Hot 100 chart for few weeks last summer.
This year 'Classic Man' is scorching high throughout the summer. Apparently the 'Black Widow' singer has something to do with it.
On Saturday, the 25 year old Aussie rapper confirmed through Twitter that she is one of the contributors to the success of Jidenna's music and admitted that she got a percentage from the 'Classic Man.'
"Classic Man is actually a sample of Fancy," the fan wrote.
Azalea responded right away, and affirmed the "percentage" she gets from the collaboration by posting, "thats true, i get a % of it."
The Ausie rapper confirms that she will do some sampling in her next album, after a fan Twitted her asking if she will do some samples in her next album, she wrote,"sure", "i had samples on my last album too."
According to Complex, the credit of the "Classic Man" goes to four of five producers and all of the writers of "Fancy," including Amethyst Kelly, Iggy Azalea's real name.
As part of the standard procedure, every time 'Classic Man' is played in YouTube or Spotify, Iggy gets a share from the music, Hot New Hip Hop claims.
Last month, 'Classic Man' landed at #31 at the iTunes Charts and currently at the 21 days on Us Songs Chart according to iTunes Charts.
Now, Jidenna recruited Kendrick Lamar for the remix of the 'Classic Man'
Jidenna wrote in his Twitter account, showing how excited he is with the new remix, "Even if she go away, we'll send her off with the remix! #ClassicManRmx ft. @KendrickLamar official video
