Rachel McAdams Addresses Rumors She's Dating Taylor Kitsch [WATCH]

The rumor mill never stops. Speculations have recently been floating around that "True Detective" co-stars Rachel McAdams and Taylor Kitsch are actually dating in real life.

While everyone's hoping that this romance is indeed real, Rachel McAdams attempts to debunk those rumors in an interview with Entertainment Tonight during the "Southpaw" press junket on Monday.

When asked about the rumors - which started earlier this month - Rachel McAdams said, "It's funny the things the Internet likes to proclaim." Although McAdams is saying the rumors aren't real, her body language says otherwise.

In fact, she donned a huge smile and even hid a part of her face as she scratched her cheek - shyly addressing the topic. Rachel McAdams says that "just because a man and a woman are photographed together, doesn't necessarily mean they're a couple," as per Entertainment Tonight.

McAdams and Taylor Kitsch were seen having dinner at Osteria Mozza in West Hollywood back in June.

Not to fret, Rachel didn't exactly give a straight answer about the rumors. "[It's the weird, weird, bizarre surreal side of it but I guess you just have to laugh at it at a certain point," said McAdams.

The 36-year-old "Mean Girls" actress even laughed at the dating rumors. She explained, "I'm like, 'Who are these people?' How did they confirm that? I find it really confusing, but yeah, it's an odd little thing."

But that wasn't the only thing she talked about. McAdams also talked about her role as Detective Antigone "Ani" Bezzerides on "True Detective."

"We had a little bit of a safety net in that it's completely different characters and a totally different story," she said in reference to the show's first season starring Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson.

"I think [creator] Nic [Pizzolato] is doing something unique again with this season [being] different from the last," Rachel continued.
