Sony was flooded with complaints from after a reported downtime that interrupted players from enjoying their favorite games. PlayStation has experienced network issues yesterday which was later confirmed by Bungie on Twitter.
"We are aware of issues impacting those on PlayStation and their ability to connect to Destiny. Our team is currently investigating," posted by Bungie Help.
Sony then followed an update on the official site of PSN confirming the network issues experienced by the users. Both the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 are affected by the issue. The company explained that players may experience problems while running games, apps or any social features on both consoles.
Accessing Video Unlimited contents are also a trouble. The features like Purchase, Download, Search, Browse and Redeem Voucher on PlayStation store are also interrupted.
Sony has promised to address the issues as soon as possible. However, players whose hands are itching to play their games showed their impatience on social media. Many have expressed their disappointment about the network problem.
A fan tweeted his sentiment together with William Ray Gibson who expressed his dissatisfaction over the interruption.

Many fans have revealed that this is not the first time issues like this happened. Gibson's tweet showed that he has been experiencing similar issues during weekends three weeks in a row. Josh Leckrone also mentioned that interruptions happen all the time.

Last week, a similar network problem on PS3 and PS4 has been reported. The month of July has not been so good for the company with the consecutive instability of the PSN Network which went offline many times over the past weeks.
On the brighter side, Sony was able to fix the problem in just a few hours making the gamers happy again. The tech has now updated on the PlayStation Service Status that players can go back to enjoying their games. All the services are now running.
