Ben Affleck teams up with DC's Geoff Johns for a new Batman stand-alone movie.
While the Oscar winner is busy promoting his new film, 'Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice' at the Comic Con in San Diego, CNN reports that the actor/director will once again work behind the camera for the new Batman standalone movie.
Affleck and Johns are developing a story for the next Batman movie he's set to direct and star as Caped Crusader in.
CNN added that this is one of Affleck's conditions when he signed up as Bruce Wayne/Batman two years ago.
Warner Brothers, however, has not yet listed the Batman standalone movie among their DC-based list of movies.
For now, Batman fans need to stay calm and watch the Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, which will hit the theaters worldwide on March 25, 2016
Affleck and his co-star Henry Cavill signed autographs for fans at Comic Con on Saturday during their movie promotion with director, Zack Snyder.
Let’s be real… the line to get Ben Affleck’s autograph will be MUCH longer than Henry Cavill’s! https://t.co/d8SB8MLrmz #TeamBatman

Ben Affleck talked about his latest character after being portrayed by actors such as George Clooney, Michael Keaton and Christian Bale to name a few in the past.
"Batman is basically the American version of Hamlet," Affleck told Entertainment Weekly. "We accept that he's played by actors with different interpretations."
"He's at the end of his run and maybe the end of his life. There's this sort of world-weariness to it," he added. "He's on the verge of being swallowed up by the anger and the rage that we see haunt this character in the other manifestations of it. But this guy is further down the line and has become more embittered and cynical."
Aside from being Gotham's superhero, Affleck will also star in the new Justice League movie which will be released on November 17,2017.
