Model Suffered Broken Bones And Torn Muscles: She Demands €75,000 For The Damage

German model is asking a hefty amount from a publisher after suffering broken bones and torn muscles for a photo shoot.

Angelika Allman, is an experienced skier but things got bitter sweet when she was hired in April 2014 of the Fit for Fun magazine.

During the photo shoot, the 30 year old model was asked to position into a steep mountain slope, which is 900 meters above sea level. But the model stepped back and streaked down the icy slope.

Allman suffered broken bones and torn muscles. She has reportedly undergone 10 surgical operations and was confined to the hospital for six months.

The model is still suffering from pain and unable to properly move her right leg.

After a year of trying to settle everything in court, Allman has now filed for legal action in Hamburg against Burda, the magazine's publisher.

Burda is just partly responsible for the accident,  the publisher committed to provide her financial assistance, but it hasn't materialized, Allman claimed.

Burda's spokesperson, said that the model was already offered a freelance position in the editorial team of Fit for Fun and a €30,000 as financial assistance but apparently she rejected the offer, according to the Telegraph.

In a statement release by Ms. Allman's team, the publisher is accused of wrongdoing during the shoot. The claimant claims that there is no mountain expert accompanying them and they were in position beyond the recommended secure ski routes the day the accident happens.

A spokesperson of Burda said, "After joint examination by our liability insurer, no culpable conduct by the editorial team was found that could have led to the accident of Ms Allmann.

"The decision to step onto the unsecured slope was made by Mrs Allmann alone - there was no instruction to do so."

Ms. Allman is demanding €75,000 for the damage.
