Terminator: Genisys from film director, television producer, and screenwriter Alan Taylor, from Paramount maybe acutally consideered to pose as a start of a new Terminator saga. Terminator: Genisys cast are Arnold Schwarzenegger (Terminator), Emilia Clarke (Sarah Connor), Jason Clarke (John Connor) and Jai Courtney (Kyle Reese).
Back in 2014, the Terminator sequels were being filmed one after the other, where the plot revolves around the life of a young man who would be asked to carry the Terminator legacy.
But unfortunately, the Terminator: Genisys had a low turn out at the box office this may slim down the chance of a consideration to produce a sequel. Over the holiday weekend it hit $28.7 million, and a 5-day haul of $44.1M. Genisys couldn't top either Jurassic World or Inside Out, it is the lowest in the franchise's decades-long history.
But there were notes that the film earned a decent Cinemama Score of B+, and the movie is heating up as the holiday weekend end up.
Terminator: Genisys' hopeful side of the situation will be drawn internationally, as Arnold Schwarzenegger remains a global superstar and the actor returned to his signature franchise as the T-800,
The worldwide receipts could save the day of the Terminator franchise in the larger picture where Genisys banked on $129.6 million internationally.
Director Alan Taylor stated, "Yes, the looming questions are, 'Who sends Pops back? Where did Skynet get it together to attack John Connor? How did that happen?' And there are answers to these things that are not provided in this movie, instantly."
Arnold Schwarzenegger attended a Q-and-A in New York City for Terminator: Genisys, the actor was quoted saying, "that the demand of the fans should dictate whether the story started in Genisys gets to continue.
