Microsoft Prepares Windows 10 For July 29 Release

Multinational tech company Microsoft is currently working hard to finalize the new Windows 10 before they release it later this month, which includes preparing for the distribution of the new operating system to PC partners.

Microsoft has scheduled to launch the highly anticipated product on July 29 and the remaining three weeks before the targeted date is enough time for the company to make everything ready.

Reports say that Microsoft will have the release-to-manufacturing (RTM) build before the week ends. Once the RTM build is ready, the company's PC partners will pre-load the new operating system to their devices for testing.

This move is an important part for all Windows products before it is sold to the market. But with the new Windows 10, this has minor significance since the latest version will regularly update once installed.

Windows 10 is considered as the final version of Windows because of its new features and the regular updates, further solidifying the fact that they won't be releasing a new OS after this.

Extensions support for the Edge browser of Microsoft will also be experienced by users. Built-in applications will also receive updates.

Terry Myerson, the company's Executive Vice President of Operating Systems states that, "We will never be done."

Microsoft issued three different versions of Windows 10 which were given to testers. Build 10158, 10159, and 10162 were initiated last week which resulted in minor improvements based on the feedback given.

Build 10162, the last official test conducted on July 2 indicates that the company is getting closer to releasing the highly anticipated product.

Others still question Microsoft's readiness to launch the new OS but the company's speed and progress says otherwise. The company has been detecting hundreds of bugs  and other driver problems within a week, which goes to show that Microsoft is working its best to resolve the issues and serve the new product to the consumers in the best way, shape and form.
