Why Does Hugh Jackman's Wife Want Him To Avoid Movies With Angelina Jolie?

Most actors refuse to do things on camera and in films due to their own specific reasons. Some actors may only agree to expose certain parts of their bodies in their films, or simply object to working with some directors or producers.

Meanwhile, Entertainment Tonight reports that Hugh Jackman's wife Deborra-Lee Furness forbids the 'X-Men: Days of Future Past' actor from making a film with a former femme fatale. The actress told Australian show 'Today' which Hollywood star her husband must avoid.

"I've told his agent he's not allowed to work with Angelina [Jolie]," Furness said. "I'm sure she's very nice, and that she's shining a light on the UN."

Before she became a UN ambassador, Angelina Jolie was known for dating and marrying her costars. The actress was married to Jonny Lee Miller, her costar from 'Hackers' and Billy Bob Thornton, who she starred with in 'Pushing Tin.'

Angelina Jolie is currently married to Brad Pitt, who was already hitched when they met on the set of 'Mr. and Mrs. Smith.' Pitt divorced 'Friends' star Jennifer Aniston and later tied the knot with Jolie.

Deborra-Lee Furness had only made a joke about this. Hugh Jackman's wife made it clear that she was only kidding.

"That's the deal with this business," she added. "If you get it right, if you pick the right partner, then, you traverse all those travails and challenges."

Hugh Jackman and Deborra-Lee Furness have been married for more than 20 years. Jackman revealed the secret to how they have maintained their marriage. "Deb had a rule, never apart for more than two weeks," the 'Pan' actor said.

Furness confirmed this. "And we don't wanna be apart," she said. "He tells really good jokes. I mean I miss him."

Hugh Jackman will reprise his role as 'Wolverine' in the character's standalone film that is scheduled for release in 2018.
