Obama's Daughter Joins Lena Dunham's Production

Malia Obama, one of the President of the USA's daughters who is also his eldest has landed an internship under the supervision of artist and producer Lena Dunham. Usually, a President's daughter is expected to work on a local law firm or some corporation working on the desk, but not Malia.

That's right, The Sydney Morning Herald reported that Malia Obama happened to have snagged a gig to be in a show called "Girls," which is already gathering a lot of negative feedback from critics due to its storyline. The President's daughter just celebrated her 17th birthday this weekend and said that her internship with Dunham was pulled off due to her connections as Obama's child.

Reports also said that the two already have become friends even before the internship and that was how Malia got the gig. The Daily Mail already saw young Malia on the set of filming in Brooklyn right after she got the internship. This is actually the second time to work on a Hollywood production. She did another internship gig before as a production assistant for another Hollywood big shot, Halle Berry for the show "Extant" via CBS. Malia isn't exactly working on the glamorous side of Hollywood because she was spotted handing out coffee for the staff and clearing out the people who are trying to get in the way of the upcoming HBO show. Her mother Michelle Obama has even made comments about her internship saying she has a possibility to enter the world of filmmaking.

The show "Girls" is controversial due to the nature of its content. It features a lot of obscene scenes and foul languages. But despite of those not-so-wholesome part of the show, it depicts the reality of the world these days which is also its main objective. To show the people what it is like to be human in this era
