Zayn Malik New Album: After One Direction, ‘Soulfoul Record’ On The Way – Will Rita Ora Collab?

It's been three months since the world seemed to collapse after the 22 year-old decided to leave One Direction, the most popular boy band in the world and where he found global fame - now, how is British star preparing for Zayn Malik's new album?

Recently, the former band mate of Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson has spoken at length about the Zayn Malik new album, currently in production, the first project in his career after having worked with Simon Cowell, as he's now signed with 50 Cent's record producing company.

According to MTV, the singer has recently revealed that Zayn Malik's new album will see him working with UK producer Naughty Boy, who made headlines a few months back after enraging Directioners everywhere, mashing up the names Zayn and Naughty in Brangelina-like "Zaughty" - but as he's a close friend to the former One Direction member, he has the scoop for fans.

Naughty Boy told Capital FM recently that Zayn Malik's new album will be "a soulful record" as he attempts to pave the way into a solo career - and Malik's even writing his own tracks for the upcoming album.

In the meantime, The Spec reports that fellow British pop star Rita Ora has expressed interest in working on Zayn Malik's new album, joking that the reason behind her desire to collaborate is entirely aesthetical.

"Well he does have the same color hair as my boyfriend," Ora said, speaking about the vibrant green shade Malik's sporting these days, after Rocky Hill dyed it the same color. "My man had it first. You know what, I respect people that work. You know I respect people that do their music. But I'm never gonna say no. You know I love music. It all depends on the song."

USA Today has studied the possibility of Malik's solo career turning in two possible directions: either Justin Timberlake after NSync or Nick Jonas after quitting Jonas Brothers, concluding that only time will tell what will be the effect of Zayn Malik's new album.
