Celebrities like Jessica Alba, Gwyneth Paltrow and even Reese Witherspoon have released their own lifestyle brands in the past, and now it's the turn for arguably America's favorite host as Ellen DeGeneres' clothing line gets its online release. Ellen DeGeneres' clothing brand, which also includes home items such as barware, is called ED by Ellen and was launch on June 30 online, in the format it will remain, as it features an entire brand based on the very iconic style of the "Ellen Show" hostess.
Sit back and relax this weekend – don’t shop and don’t lift a finger; you’re going to need all your energy for Tuesday’s #EDbyEllen launch. Una foto publicada por ED by Ellen (@edbyellen) el 26 de Jun de 2015 a la(s) 1:36 PDT
E! Online describes Ellen DeGeneres' clothing line as "a mixture of laidback charisma and understated charm," which features a wide variety of different goods from animal-shaped pins at $8 all the way to tailored jackets going up $245 apiece, joining the likes of Melissa McCarthy, Kim Kardashian and even Jennifer Lopez in the fashion business.
Forbes reports that the name of Ellen DeGeneres' clothing line, ED, doesn't only come from the star's initials but also from her marriage, as that's the nickname her "Ally McBeal" and "Scandal" actress wife Portia De Rossi has given her for many years.
"I hope to give women something that's missing from the market, which is comfort, class and style with a sense of fun," the hostess and actress told Mashable recently, speaking about Ellen DeGeneres' clothing line. "People always ask me who I'm wearing and where they can get my clothes. And now I'm excited to tell them I'm wearing me People always ask me who I'm wearing and where they can get my clothes. And now I'm excited to tell them I'm wearing me," she added with the staple sweet and goofy sense of humor.

The brand sees the "Finding Nemo" actress partnering up with Chris Burch, responsible for women's chain C. Wonder and firm Burch Creative Capital - and he actually joined in the iconic Hollywood couple during trips to catch a better sense of the feel Ellen DeGeneres' clothing brand had to have!
