‘House Of Cards’ Season 4: ‘Scream’ For Neve Campbell, Newest Kevin Spacey And Robin Wright Co-Star

After the critical acclaim the third season of the Kevin Spacey and Robin Wright show, these days Netflix is already setting up the motions for the "House of Cards" season 4, and following the cliffhanger ending of the last season, only one thing is certain: "Scream" actress Neve Campbell will be joining the cast as a regular.

Campbell is best known for her 90s demure roles in appearances like the family drama "Party of Five" and the cult horror film "Scream," but these days she's in and out of some of the biggest dramas on television, including Shonda Rhimes' iconic first show "Grey's Anatomy" and "Mad Men" - so her joining the "House of Cards" season 4 seems quite appropriate.

According to Time Magazine, Campbell has been officially confirmed for the "House of Cards" season 4 as a series regular, and she's currently filming alongside Spacey, Wright and co-stars, though the exact nature of her role is still mostly unknown.

Deadline reports that, although little is actually known about Campbell's part for the "House of Cards" season 4, it has been widely speculated that the new season would be introducing a new and younger couple that would stand against President Frank Underwood and wife Claire, so there's a possibility Campbell would be one half of that couple.

In any case, the "House of Cards" season 4 is the biggest television commitment the 41 year-old actress has made in a long time, as her appearances on television recently have been only a few episodes, with shows "Welcome to Sweden" and "Titanic: Blood and Steel" being her longest commitment, neither of them going for more than eight episodes.

Slash Film reports that, last year, Oscar winner star Spacey said that he expected the award-winning Netflix series (which brought him the first Golden Globe of his career in 2015) to last for as much as 12 years.

The "House of Cards" season 4 is currently being filmed around Baltimore and it's expected to hit the streaming site in 2016, possibly in the spring.
