According to Gawker, to show how much in character he was ahead of Jared Leto's Joker appearance, the actor and rocker sent a number of presents to all his cast members, meant to hoax them as well as seemingly welcome them into filming, and the practical jokes got a little too heavy.
Speaking to E! Online, Adam Beach, who will be playing Slipknot in the DC Comics adaptation, spoke about Jared Leto's Joker "presents" during a recent red carpet event, as he appeared at the premiere of "Joe Dirt 2: Beautiful Loser" to promote his newest film.
"He sent [Robbie] a nice love letter with a black box with a rat in it-a live rat," Beach told the gossip site. "It was beautiful. Then he sent bullets to Will [Smith] with a letter." Basically, what he said was, 'Guys, I can't be there but I want you to know I'm doing my work as hard as you guy.'"
Coming Soon reports that other Jared Leto Joker presents included a dead hog and a video of himself in character, showing the cast, including supermodel Cara Delevingne, that things had gone "real"!
