5 Seconds of Summer: Michael Clifford Catches Fire During London Concert

5 Seconds of Summer certainly fired up a show at London Wembley Arena last Saturday, June 13, but it was cut short immediately after Michael Clifford caught a few flames.

According to Hollywood Life, the Australian guitarist burned himself after he walked through a pyrotechnics display by accident.

Here's a video clip of Clifford's fire incident captured by one of the fans during the concert.

The mishap took place when the pop rock band was performing the hit song "She Looks So Perfect" during their second night in London. Not too long after the sudden mishap, 5SOS drummer Ashton Irwin informed the fans that the show has to stop due to Clifford's accident.

"Michael has hurt himself so we will not be continuing the show right now,", Ashton said "Just want to say thank you so much for coming. He is OK. You guys have been the best crowd we could as for tonight. Thank you so much."

Althought this particular '5 Seconds of Summer' concert didn't turn out great, Clifford was trying to keep in touch with his fans by providing updates through Twitter.

Just hours after the concert, Clifford himself tweeted a picture of his bandaged face and captioned it with an apology message for not being able to finish the show.

"Sorry I couldn't finish the encore, but at least I look like two face," he wrote "Thanks for worrying every1 x."

After the seemingly quite unsuccessful London show, ‘5 Seconds of Summer’ is still set to play their last concert in the city at the SSE Arena tonight. They will then be making their way to Australia and New Zealand by the end of June.

The Australian four-piece band will also be having their North American tour in mid-July, making the rounds in major cities around the United States and Canada. Schedules and venues are posted on 5S0S' official website.
