No More Character Limits on Twitter's DM!

Twitter is known for limiting your messages for only 140 characters, but starting July, all its subscribers can finally send more than that limit with its direct messaging feature. It would appear that Twitter is having an e-mail like format with their way of changing things up.

Silicon Republic reported that in the middle of their CEO Dick Costolo, leaving the company, this change could bring up some good developments from one of the Internet's giant in the industry of social media. The development team of the company said that its developers would still need time to perform the proper changes that the APP needs to go through before completely removing the limits of characters when sending a direct message.

And for those asking if the public tweets would also be affected by the change, Digital Trends got the information from the company itself saying that area won't have any changes at all. But sending more than 140 characters through a direct message on Twitter is already huge for the microblogging social media, since a lot of business and corporate companies actually use their platform. Instead of sending the usual email, they could easily send their followers their updates through the said feature soon.

Twitter is set to make its subscribers to send 10,000 characters when dealing with a direct or private message. Tech2 noticed the fact that the company indeed has seen the competition that is circling with instant messaging since Facebook Messenger and WhatsApp are definitely bagging a lot of advantages and even more users just because of what they can do. The wait is not that long to experience the new Twitter with its new direct messaging feature because July is just around the corner. The company urges that their subscribers update their Get requests for them to further maximize the use of their DM as soon as it becomes available.
