2015 Tony nominee Carey Mulligan is pregnant with her first child with Mumford & Sons' Marcus Mumford. The actress has been stylishly hiding her growing baby bump at the red carpet.
"They weren't planning on announcing, but she hasn't stopped working. Everybody around her is being very supportive. The show ends soon and they're going back to England after," an exclusive source tells US Weekly.
The couple has been very private about their relationship, so it's no surprise that they are also keeping mum about whether or not the baby news is actually true.
Mulligan, who was nominated for Best Performance by an Actress for "Skylight," graced the 2015 Tony Awards red carpet in her strapless oxblood-colored gown, which perfectly hid her baby bump.
The Oscar-nominated actress also appeared at the 2015 MET Gala without obvious signs of early pregnancy in her loose black Balenciaga gown.
Mulligan is currently in the cover of Vogue's May issue. Sharing the reason why she's trying to keep her romance with her musician husband really private, the actress said, "Marcus is the only thing that's mine that I can keep totally away."
Mulligan and Mumford got married in a very intimate wedding in Somerset, England. After dating for five months, the childhood pen pals tied the knot in 2012. About 100 guests were close friends Sienna Miller, Jake Gyllenhaal and Colin Firth.
Actress Sienna Miller told Vogue about the couple's laid back vibe, saying, "It's sort of idyllic. Marcus can headline Glastonbury and Carey can be nominated for however many Oscars, and then they come back to their farm, and they're in big woolly jumpers and funny hats, raising piglets. It's an amazing balance they've managed to strike. I can't wait for a little baby to come along."
The actress added that the couple hosts small roast parties at their farm, jamming by the camp fire.
