Now that it's official that Kristen Bell and Idina Menzel will be coming back to voice Princess Anna and Queen Elsa in the yet-unnamed sequel of "Frozen," fans of the original film have already begun taking up all information they can find on the future project.
A few months back, Kristen Bell and Idina Menzel reunited as the two beloved characters for the first time after the film was released, as they both provided their voices for the short film "Frozen Fever," which hit theaters alongside the live-action version of "Cinderella" not long before the official full-length sequel to the 2013 hit was announced.
The original Kristen Bell and Idina Menzel film is known for having given the world arguably the most memorable song in recent times, "Let It Go," which won the Academy Award and has been covered by seemingly everyone on YouTube and even Glee.
According to Master Herald, both Kristen Bell and Idina Menzel have been confirmed to star in the sequel, but there's little known about the rest of the cast, although they've hinted that Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck, the directors of the original movie, have come up with a "great idea" that could possibly include Prince Hans (voiced by Santino Montana), the villain in "Frozen," who might return for the sequel as "a new man."
VC Post reports that other theories surrounding the plot of the Kristen Bell and Idina Menzel sequel could include a much greater villain that will confront Ice Queen Elsa, surfacing many times - with the outlet pointing out that the only thing that could challenge ice is flames or lava.
According to Latinos Post, other possible plot developments for the Kristen Bell and Idina Menzel sequel include rumors that "Frozen 2" might delve deeper into feminist issues, becoming more LGBT friendly through introducing new characters - but we won't know until 2018!
