Mariah Carey: Only Wants To Collab...With Mariah Carey

The only person that Mariah Carey, one of the best-selling female artists of all time, would like to collaborate with is herself, the diva tells Buzz Feed in an interview at the happiest place on Earth, Disneyland.

Carey has just released her latest hits album, '#1 To Infinity' and is celebrating her 25th year in show business.

A frequent Billboard charts topper, with 18 no.1 singles (second place to the legendary rock band the Beatles, who has 20), she candidly shared that after doing many music collaborations over the years, she just wants another 'collab' with Mariah Carey.

"I want to collaborate with me 'cause I've done so many collaborations that after a certain point unless you're really working with a certain caliber of an artist, there's no point [to collaborate]."

The five-time Grammy winner who has worked with artists such as Jay Z, P. Diddy, Bone Thugs & Harmony, and the late fellow diva Whitney Houston said she feels wrong seeing record labels being just like "let's throw these two people together."

One of her most popular collaborations was with Houston on the song 'When You Believe,' which was part of the soundtrack for the Disney movie 'The Prince of Egypt'. They performed the hit live, most notably during an episode of the Oprah Winfrey Show in 1998.

The singer-songwriter also added she helped pave the way for some of the collaborations happening in the music industry today.

In her new album, Mariah compiled 18 of her no.1 hits with her new single, Infinity. The Pop and R&B singer also shared that one of her favorite moments is hearing her fans singing to her latest track. "I love performing "Infinity" in Vegas because to see the people singing along to such a brand-new song - I just wrote and recorded it three months ago."

When asked about her favorite no.1 song, Mariah said she loves her classic, "Fantasy," and her newer hits "We Belong Together" and "Touch My Body".

The singer-actress, who has written most of her greatest hits would also like to get into the movies. "There are a lot of things I have on the horizon that I'm going to be doing: acting, singing, even writing for movies. I think I'd even like to score a movie."

After all these years of success, the Butterfly singer shared that feeling festive is her favorite thing to do to stay fabulous.
