The Hateful Eight Cast: First Pic Of Quentin Tarantino’s New Western Starring Kurt Russell, Jennifer Jason Leigh And Samuel L. Jackson! [PHOTO]

Following the success of his first western, the 2012 "Django Unchained," Quentin Tarantino will be releasing his second attempt in the classic film genre later this year, and as usual with the director's films, "The Hateful Eight" cast is filled with some of the biggest movie stars in the world.

Some frequent Tarantino collaborators include Uma Thurman (often dubbed the director's muse), Christoph Waltz (who has won two Academy Awards for his work with the director) and Steve Buscemi, and now "The Hateful Eight" cast brings another Tarantino back into the universe of his films: Samuel L. Jackson, who has worked with the director in "Pulp Fiction," had a small role in the "Kill Bill" movies and was most recently part of his "Django Unchained."

Now, according to The Guardian, the first picture of "The Hateful Eight" cast is released, as three of its stars graced a magazine cover to promote the upcoming film, which was almost not shot after its screenplay was leaked in 2014.

High Snobiety reports that, while "The Hateful Eight" cast is first shown in full costume, the film's writer and director has been asked about the tone of his film, which is expected to be, in pure Tarantino fashion, the bloodiest of the year.

The director has compared the movie to his first feature film, modern classic "Reservoir Dogs," saying that, like the 1993 film, it's also about "a bunch of guys in a room who can't trust each other" - a theme not entirely unfamiliar to the two-time Oscar winner.

The first look at "The Hateful Eight" cast is featured in the cover for the latest issue of Entertainment Weekly, and the issue hitting shelves this Friday also features a full photo shoot.

Besides the three people pictured in the cover, "The Hateful Eight" cast includes Tim Roth, Michael Madsen and Bruce Dern.
