The "Herbie" actress has made news for the past few years over her problems with addiction and inner family problems, including a difficult relationship with both her mother and father, though Lindsay Lohan's Twitter has always been very active - and now she's under hard scrutiny after making a complete fool of herself by trying to speak a foreign language.
Over the course of the past few weeks, Food World News has reported on the latest about Lindsay's family, as she's supposedly in the middle of a fight with her mother over Dina in talks to be in "Big Brother Celebrity" in the UK, while the wife of her father, Michael, was recently arrested.
For the most part, Lindsay Lohan's Twitter feed is usually filled with pictures of her endorsed products and her workout routine, besides constant links to the actress' Instagram - but, of course, the one time she made a terrible mistake it wasn't about to be ignored by her millions of followers on her different social media pages.
According to People Magazine, the latest from Lindsay Lohan's Twitter saw the 28 year-old actress committing a terrible "language gaffe" earlier this week, last Monday to be more specific; the famous redhead tried to tell them they were "beautiful" in Arabic and confused the word ... using "donkey" instead!
As Business Insider reports, the guilty social network wasn't really Lindsay Lohan's Twitter, as there she just posted a picture from her Instagram page, with an image of the message "You're beautiful" written in English with the supposed translation in Arabic below - only it turns out she hadn't double-checked her Google Translate, as the phrase meant "You're a donkey."
As Gawker rechecked with a friend that speaks Arabic, "حمار" translates to "donkey" or "ass," and there were millions of people who were only too happy to point out the unfortunate mistake - prompting the actress to, unsurprisingly enough, end up deleting the original picture from her social networks.
Hopefully this will be the last time Lindsay Lohan's Twitter shows a faux pas this terrible!
