Boy, 8, Found In Stolen Car [+VIDEO] Slept Through His Own Kidnapping! Boy Reunited With Parents After Long Hours Search

Boy, 8, found in stolen car was safe and sound after an intruder stole a family-owned 2001 Toyota Corolla left running in front of their Northern California home on Monday. It was a real blessing that the boy, 8, found in stolen car was sleeping and was not noticed by the robber.

A concerned neighbor who spotted the abandoned car two miles from the home of the owner reported the incident right away to the authorities.

Brock Guzman, the boy, 8, found in stolen car with plate number California 5BWF072was located in a deserted area after four hours search. He was unharmed and is now with his parents.

"We don't know for sure if he slept through the whole thing, but it looks that way," Fairfield police Officer Kathryn McCormick said." We hope that was the case. At this point, we are investigating this as a crime of opportunity."

Police officers said that it seemed the wretched thief found the car that is parked opposite the family's home while it was left unattended and running. A bicycle found where the car was parked was likely owned by the robber.

According to Brock's father, he put the sleeping boy, 8, found in stolen car about 4:45 a.m. to bring him to school.

Before going inside their home with his older son to get some things, he left the car running. However, when he returned, his car was stolen with the boy sleeping at the backseat, according to Daily Mail.

A bicycle was the only thing he saw, which he presumed was owned by the thief. The father took another family vehicle and drove his way to search for his son. Meanwhile the mother of the boy, 8, found in stolen car, identified as Suzanne Guzman anxiously called 911 for help.

Since the call was made, an Amber alert was called to search for Brock Guzman.

After over four hours of intensive search for the boy, an "alert citizen" reported that he spotted the boy sleeping at the backseat of the car left at 400 block of Dahlia Street. The concerned neighbor abruptly called the police and the boy, 8, found in stolen car was located.

According to NBC Bay Area, a person of interest was taken into custody while investigation was on going.

However, there is no suspect yet who can be accounted for the incident. Investigators are still gathering evidences but the boy, 8, found in stolen car said that the man who stole the car told him that he was not aware that he was sleeping at the backseat.

The thief pulled over and got out of the car while the boy slept again.

Paul Guzman claimed that his son, Brock, the boy, 8, found in stolen car described the thief as a man wearing black hat and black sweatshirt.
