Derick and Jill Duggar baby, Israel David Dillard was born past his due date, but he was born a healthy baby boy. The "19 Kids and Counting" couple couldn't contain their emotions as they announced the birth of their new 'bundle of joy' who was born on April 6.
This time, Jill Duggar baby didn't get a name that starts with 'J' a tradition in Jill's family. The couple shared photos of baby Israel with caption, "So thankful to God for this handsome little guy! 9lbs 10oz, 23 inches long! #IsraelDavidDillard #babydilly" in Instagram.
On April 7, the couple also shared a video of the family while they were cuddling baby Israel on their official blog website, "The Dillards Serick & Jill."
"He's here! Israel David Dillard has made his arrival. He was born at 11:49pm on April 6, 2015. He weighed 9 lbs and 10 ounces and measured 23 inches long. We think he's adorable," the couple wrote.
"Mom and baby are both doing wonderful. We are so thankful for his safe arrival and look forward to this great new journey called Parenthood! Check back for regular updates from our growing family. We would love to hear from you."
A second photo of Derick and Jill Duggar baby shows cute Israel captured sleeping as he seemed smiling. The caption reads, "He's a beautiful baby boy! Israel David Dillard, born last night at 11:49pm!"
Photos of Derick and Jill Duggar baby were first shared by proud parents of Jill who took pictures of the mother and son while they were in the delivery room, PEOPLE reported. The excited grandparents made a happy comment of stating how thankful they were for healthy mom and baby.
