Andrew Getty dies inside his home in Los Angeles on Tuesday afternoon while a coroner's official declared that he died of natural causes or accident.

The LAPD North Hollywood Division responded to his home in Montcalm Avenue in the Hollywood Hills immediately after a probable distress notification was received at about 2:20 p.m. Andrew Getty dies inside his bathroom when the authorities arrived at the scene.

CBS Los Angeles reported that Andrew Getty dies just before authorities arrived in his home. It was also reported that a woman was arrested and was submitted for investigation labeling her as the 'person of interest.' It was found that she was Getty's ex-girlfriend and she was the same person who called 911.

Andrew Getty dies news was confirmed by his parents, Ann and Gordon Getty, who request a private moment at this difficult time.

 According to Ed Winter, the Los Angeles County chief assistant coroner, initial investigations revealed that Getty was taking medications for months due to undetermined health condition. Getty was also scheduled to see his doctor on Wednesday, the Los Angeles Times reports.

Authorities reported that they gathered some prescription bottles from his home, but it is yet to be known for what those medicines are for.

According to some sources, the house where Andrew Getty dies had some history in the past. It was a 70-year-old villa owned earlier by three-time Oscar-winning film composer Miklos Rozsa. Getty purchased the villa in 1996.
