The first time that audiences realized that the relationship between Charlie Sheen and Chuck Lorre was more than strained was back in 2011, when the actor who played Charlie Harper in "Two and a Half Men" went on public record to make derogatory remarks about Lorre.
At the time, the first bout of drama between Charlie Sheen and Chuck Lorre ensued: as the actor was in and out of rehab for his drug habits, he fired up insults against the show's creator, which ultimately led to him getting fired from the show and CBS canceling the remainder of that season - until finally, Ashton Kutcher replaced him on the sitcom.
Later, the relationship between Charlie Sheen and Chuck Lorre became even more intense, as the actor filed a wrongful termination lawsuit against him and Warner Bros., the production company behind the show, which was ultimately set in court.
As Food World News reported a few weeks ago, "Two and a Half Men" finally ended, and the entire finale revolved around Sheen's character, Charlie Harper - Lorre said that, when the episode was written, Sheen himself was contacted to reprise his role in a cameo, which he refused.
At the time, it didn't seem to bother the "Platoon" actor, but, according to People Magazine, now Charlie Sheen's Chuck Lorre issues become apparent once more, when he was asked what he'd thought of the series finale and he went on to insult the producer.
According to Time Magazine, the comments came out as he was walking around a mall with a few friends, and he was asked about his opinion on the way the show ended, and he said Lorre had been "immature and unevolved."
"You must feel safe where you live!" said Sheen to the camera, according to TMZ. "To be that stupid ... in my face, really? You must feel safe motherf***er."
Will the world ever hear the end of the Charlie Sheen and Chuck Lorre drama?
