And the best actor Oscar 2015 winner is....Eddie Redmayne! The 33-year-old British actor took home the prize for best actor in the Oscars after receiving strings of the best actor awards from other award giving bodies.

The best actor Oscar 2015 winner, Redmayne is the eight-youngest star to receive the award in the prestigious Oscars.  But aside from his prolific portrayal as Stephen Hawking in "The Theory of Everything" his acceptance speech gave a different glare during the night.

"I'm fully aware that I am a lucky, lucky man!" Redmayne saing as he was feeling so excited reciving the award. "This Oscar, wow! This belongs to all of those people around the word battling ALS. It belongs to one exceptional family, Stephen, Jane, Jonathan and the Hawking children."

"I will be its custodian and I will promise you I will look after him, polish him, answer his beck and call, wait on him hand and foot."

The best actor Oscar 2015 winner Redmayne earlier received awards for portraying the same role as Stephen hawking as a genius and at the same time, an Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) sufferer. The film also showcases his love and relationship with his wife Jane Wilde.  

The 33-year-old best actor Oscar 2015 winner was awarded by the Golden Globe, the Screen Actors Guild Award and the BAFTA for his excellent performance for the movie, "The Theory of Everything."

Redmayne winning in the Oscars was a refreshing moment in the 87-year Oscars Award giving body. He beat his strongest contender, Michael Keaton for the film "Birdman," Benedict Cumberbatch for "The Imitation Game" and Bradley Cooper for American Sniper, according to The Guardian.

The best actor Oscar 2015 winner Redmayne caught the attention of the critics for his performance in "My Week with Marilyn" (2011) and "Les Miserables" (2012) Forbes reports.

But prior to these performances, he was noticed many times as early as 2004 and was named as Outstanding Newcomer at the London Evening Standard Awards 2004.

"The Theory of Everything" had a cost of $15 million. But amazingly, it grossed $104 million worldwide that earns a hefty 657 percent growth at the box office.

The best actor Oscar 2015 winner once quoted, "Stephen Hawking is just effortlessly cool. He has this kind of shambolic confidence to him. I describe it as a "Lord of Misrule" quality - he's got a great sense of mischief."
