Courtney Love Letterman: [+VIDEO] Courtney Love Talks About Reconciliation, Past Drugs & Montage Of Heck At The Late Show!

Courtney Love Letterman "The Late Show" appearance last Tuesday, Feb. 10 was full of revelations. The wife of late Nirvana frontman, Kurt Cobain promoted her first Fox musical-drama series "Empire" until not quite long enough when Letterman asked about her personal life.

Courtney Love wearing a black dress comfortably chatted with David Letterman and opened up the things of her past- her drug addiction, and her reconciliation with former Nirvana's drummer, David Grohl. In Courtney Love Letterman appearance, she also talked about Cobain's documentary, "Montage of Heck."

"We're friends again - we text, and we're cool." Love told Letterman. "It just got stupid. Honestly, me and Dave Grohl, we had some gnarly times over 20 years. And if we can make up, anyone can make up. We're really cool now."

Rolling Stone cited that Courtney Love told Letterman that she and Grohl had buried that hatchet after more than 20 years of lawsuits and public feuds. She agreed to Letterman that maturity and wisdom played roles in their reconciliation.

In Courtney Love Letterman "The Late Show" appearance, Courtney also talked about the "Montage of Heck," Kurt Cobain's documentary. She revealed that the film is anguish and moving. She watched it three times already and she might not watch it anymore.

She added director Brett Morgan did a fantastic job. Courtney Love, Letterman also talked about Frances Cobain and Courtney shared that she is so proud of her daughter, who did a brilliant job as the executive producer of the "Montage of Heck."

On Courtney Love Letterman conversation about drugs, host David Letterman candidly opened up the topic on drugs and drug usage. Letterman was joking that he was an alcoholic but he doesn't know much about drugs. He asked what Courtney's drug of choice was when she was living high and living low.

Courtney answered Letterman frankly that "all of it, all of it. There are no more drugs." She admitted that her religion Buddhism had saved her and changed her and her life. She added meditation helped her get cleaned and leave drugs.

"Montage of Heck" was one of Kurt Cobain's mixtape that was left and was unreleased. It was heard last year when it became available online. "Montage of Heck" is Cobain's compilation of songs by The Beatles, The Monkees, Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, and The Jackson Five, NME reported.
