Daniel Craig Injury Bond: 007 Injures Knee Filming ‘Spectre,’ Studio Bosses Panic

The man known for his suave demeanor as he plays the world's most famous top-secret agent from MI6, Commander James Bond, is now in the middle of a Daniel Craig injury as Bond, which has delayed filming of the upcoming film of the famous franchise and could mean a potential mess for studio execs.

A few months back, the name, cast and release date for the 24th installment of the James Bond franchise were all revealed, and "Spectre" began production in the famous 007 Stage in England - but perhaps the whole thing will now take a longer while due to Daniel Craig's injury as Bond recently.

According to RTE, the actor suffered an accident while he was shooting a fight scene for the movie, and so Daniel Craig's injury as Bond came out to the public, as the ordeal delayed the production, or at least part of it, as the actor is famous for doing his own stunts in the 007 films.

The Guardian reports that Daniel Craig's injury as Bond is only the latest issue with the filming schedule, as a few days back there was a problem with the shoot's Rome move, as they were about to relocate for the Italian capital; it seems they only then found out that the city wasn't in top conditions, being dirty and somewhat in ruins, and campaigners complained that the film's schedule wasn't being prepared as thoroughly as it should be.

Thankfully, Craig's injury was a small one, as it turned out he was only suffering from a sprained ankle and was to continue shooting this Saturday, keeping the whole thing under schedule.

A source told United Kingdom newspaper The Mirror that the filming schedule is already behind, and the possibility of the leading man being seriously injured could have created a real disaster.

Now that Daniel Craig's injury as Bond is behind him, he'll continue to shoot "Spectre," directed by Sam Mendes (who was behind "Skyfall); cast members Ralph Fiennes, Ben Whishaw and Naomie Harris will rejoin him as M and Moneypenny, along with baddies Andrew Scott and Christoph Waltz and Bond girls Monica Bellucci and Léa Seydoux.
