Selfie After Plane Crash: Pilot Selfies Led To Fatal Colorado Aircraft Crash, NTSB Reports

Selfie, after plane crash was the most probable thing that took place on May 31, 2014 according to the report of the National Transportation Safety Board. The pilot and his passenger may have taken selfie, after plane crash as evidences gathered include a GoPro camera with videos from recent flights.

The pilot, Amritpal Singh, 29, was driving a Cessna 150K with a passenger when the two crashed into a wheat field, as reported by USA Today.

A selfie, after plane crash contributed to their instant death based on the evidences. Wreckage was located the following day around 7:00 a.m. near the Front Range Airport east of Denver, Colorado.

Experts from NSTB stated that on May 31 around 12:30 a.m. Singh could have been flying under "instrument meteorological" conditions where a pilot would depend on an instrument in order to fly safe due to less visibility. Washington Post noted that Singh could have been flying seven miles of visibility.

A GoPro camera recovered from the wreckage proved that selfie, after plane crash was most likely the cause of the accident. The recordings showed that 'selfies' on their mobile phones with flash may have distracted the pilot leading to spatial disorientation and loss of control New York Post reported.

According to the NSTB report, the two-seater plane was operating in normal condition when it departed from the Front Range Airport in Watkins, Colorado.

However, it flew downwards 1, 900 per minute following selfie. After, plane crash led to fatal deaths of the pilot and of a musician identified as Jatinder Singh, 31 who was there in town for a concert, Denver Post noted.

The Cessna 150K plane owned by Amritpal Singh is a two-seater plane assembled in 1970.

Based on the selfie, after plane crash evidences of NSTB, the Cessna plane was operating smoothly and no mechanical problem had been detected. It was also running in normal phase before it revolved and crashed.

There were seven video recording from the GoPro selfie, after plane crash evidences. The authorities could not conclude that those were taken the same night the fatal crash happened, but most likely, the pilot and the passenger could have been taking similar selfies.

Several rumors stirred more on the selfie, after plane crash evidences when photos of selfies appeared on Instagram earlier in December.

The photo uploaded on Instagram was captioned, "View from the office, NYC to HKG. 15 hr flight flying over the North Pole."

NSTB told ABC News that the Federal Aviation Administration prohibits personal wireless communications device or laptop computer for personal use while at their duty station on the flight deck while the aircraft is being operated.

The statement was contradicted by Federal Aviation Administration spokesperson saying that pilots are permitted to use cameras while on flight but not cameras from their personal mobile phones.

The selfie, after plane crash incident proved that selfies cannot be taken lightly especially when flying on air.
