Obama State of The Union Address Highlight: Internet Goes Wild With ‘I Won Both’ Comment [VIDEO]

With a speech that made a strong point in the recent price fall of oil and the fact that there's less dependency on foreign oil than there had been on years before; however, the Internet put all the attention of the Barack Obama State of the Union Address highlight that saw the President get cheeky with GOP.

As it would be expected of the Internet, it was quickly assumed that the biggest Obama State of the Union Address highlight was when, after the President said that he had no more campaigns to run and the Republicans in the room started clapping and cheering, he added "I know, because I won both of them."

According to The Independent, the Obama State of the Union Address highlight came about as, for the first time since he was first elected, he gave a SOTU speech in front of a Congress controlled by a Republican majority, which meant he had to make sure he "burned" them before things got too heated in the room.

AJC.com reports that the Obama State of the Union Address highlight was actually ad-libbed, as it wasn't even in the official transcript of the speech the President gave out last Tuesday night. As the President was speaking about his agenda, he happened to mention that he had no more campaigns to run, which caused uproar in the Republican side of the room, as they cheered at the fact that he could no longer seek reelection.

"I know, because I've won both of them," Barack Obama stated, speaking about how he's already won the Presidency twice before. As Business Insider reports, the sudden burst of cheers that came from the Democrat side, as he had to halt his speech for a few seconds before going on with his point.

While many consider the ad-libbed comment the major Obama State of the Union Address highlight, The Washington Post reports that, understandably, it irked further the people on the other side of the hallway - but not before turning into an Internet meme.
