Ingredients
 3 slices bacon
 1/3 onion, chopped
 3 potatoes, peeled and cubed
 1 tbsp all-purpose flour
 1 cup heavy cream
 2 cans minced clams
 1 cup bottled clam juice
 salt and pepper to taste
 1tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Directions
 1. In a large saucepan over medium heat, fry the bacon until crisp. Reserve the bacon fat in the pan; set aside.
 2. In the same saucepan, saute the onion and potatoes for 5 minutes with the bacon fat. Coat with the flour.
 3. Pour in the clam juice, bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low; simmer until potatoes are tender.
 4. Add the heavy cream and minced clams; season with salt and pepper to taste.
 5. Garnish with crumbled bacon and parsley. Serve with crackers.
