North Korea's National Defense Commission (NDC) referred the North Korea internet down incident as a "cowardly attack" and "laughable."

"The United States, with its large physical size and oblivious to the shame of playing hide and seek as children with runny noses would, has begun disrupting the Internet operations of the main media outlets of our republic," the North's National Defense Commission said in a statement.
Apart from North Korea internet down incident The North Korea's National Defense Commission (NDC) spokesman again denied the allegations that they are behind the hacking incident of Sony Pictures.
He also invited U.S. to come out with strong evidences that will point out that they are the one responsible for hacking the film network, Reuters reported.

At the controversial hacking of Sony Pictures, the film company stopped releasing the film, "The Interview." However, Obama criticized it and stated that they were pressured by North Korea. Sony Pictures was pressured to release the movie in selected theaters.

"If the US persists in American-style arrogant, high-handed and gangster-like arbitrary practices despite (North Korea's) repeated warnings, the US should bear in mind that its failed political affairs will face inescapable deadly blows."
