As Christmas day approaches, videos of decorations and different holiday occurrences have gone viral in the web - but there's nothing as awesome as the Star Wars Christmas light show that wins in every possible level!
There are many people that take Christmas decoration and lighting pretty seriously, and then there's the guy that created a Star Wars Christmas light show completely in tune with the iconic John Williams theme to the movie - it's amazing just how in sync the whole show is, and it wasn't even orchestrated by an expert in lighting!
According to UPI, the man behind the amazing Star Wars Christmas light show is called Tom BetGeorge, a music teacher from California. The whole thing happened as he decided to give his Christmastime a twist, showing off all that could be done with just a little bit of production behind it.
BetGeorge isn't only a music teacher, according to MTV: he actually works at the Oakland Conservatory of Vocal and Instrumental Arts - so it's pretty obvious that he should know a thing or two about music!
While the decorations aren't exactly Star Wars-themed (unlike a photo that has gone viral on the Internet with a Darth Vader Christmas tree), the amazing thing is how well matched up the music, a potpourri of the John Williams score for the George Lucas movies, is to the light show.
Of course, BetGeorge decided to post his Star Wars Christmas light show online - and it became an Internet smash on YouTube, making geeks and fans of the story in a galaxy far, far away thrive. According to E! Online, BetGeorge took a month to set up the show, using 100,000 lights, two miles of cable and 5,000 wires for the perfect show to go on.
In any case, don't miss out the amazing Star Wars Christmas light show - just to get you on the geek Christmas spirit!
