Microsoft Leak Reveals New Windows Phone The Lumia 1330

Recent leaked information from Windows shows the successor of their Lumia 1320. The newest Windows phone on the horizon, rumored to be name Lumia 1330 have its specs leaked out recently.

According to reports, the Lumia 1330 will have a massive 5.7inch display that can project HD display at 720p. It is also reported that the new smartphone from Nokia will on a quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor with integrated Adreno 305 graphic processing unit. The phone also sports one gigabyte of memory and a 32 GB internal storage. The biggest surprise so far is the 14 megapixel PureView rear camera and a five megapixel front camera. Another noticeable update is the GDR2 operating system also known as the Windows 8.1 Update2.

Initially based on the Windows 8.1 model, the GDR2 will have a Message Access Protocol, a feature that will allow smart watches to access the owner's text messages. Another feature added to the update is HOGA or HID over General Attribute Protocol, this feature will allow the smartphone to interact with other accessories like headsets or smart watches. The HID1.1 update will probably enable to phone to support Bluetooth keyboard. The last of the updates and features added is the Absolute Volume Control support.

The tech world first had a glimpse of Nokia Lumia 1330 when it was reportedly seen in a photo leak from an unknown source inside Microsoft. Additionally, the cross promotion network Adduplex that specifically targets Windows 8 and Windows phone news had reported that the device is under the RM-1062, RM-1063 and RM-1065 device family. The projected announcement of the smartphone is expected to be on the next Mobile World Congress which will be held in Barcelona next year but no Nokia and Microsoft have yet release respective statement in order to confirm these rumors.
