Bungie, the developer of "Destiny," has promised several changes to the economy of the endgame and now that the latest patch was released, players are expecting that some of such changes will be implemented. Aside from minor fixes and tweaks, the latest patch offers a huge change to the way how exotic armor and weapons work in the game.
The upgrades for the gold-colored exotic gear, only one of these can be equipped in the weapon and armor categories at a time, now depend on the new crafting material, which is known as "Exotic Shards." These may be gotten through dismantling the current exotic gear or buying one from Xur, the weekend-only vendor of Destiny, for seven strange coins, which is a rare currency that players will find in the game.
This is not only the changes to Exotics. Another change includes gold-tier weapons with higher base damage status, even if this means there is a narrower upgrade range instead of higher damage totals. The number of particular exotics were tweaked in a single way or another. The detailed changes are available at the official website of Bungie.
The latest patch also creates several changes to provide players ease in the farming planets for common crafting materials. Today, players have the option to spend their accrued Crucible Marks and Vanguard. Both of these special currencies can be earned once players have completed some tasks in PvP and PvE play.
Among the known changes in the game, Daily Patrol bounties and Daily Heroic challenges now drop the destination materials from different planets they unfold on. There are other changes that players should not miss with the latest patch of Destiny. If you are an avid fan of Destiny, this latest patch could take you into a whole new level of gaming experience.
