Cara Delevigne Chanel - The 22 year-old model and actress is known for several reasons, such as her flawless looks, her colorful dating life and appearance in the media. Now, her voice could add up a new reason.
The model and musician Pharrell Williams acted and sang together in a new film that Chanel developed for Chanel's Métiers d'Art Show in Salzburg, Austria. The event took place on Dec. 2, Hollywood Life noted.
The film is called "Reincarnation," due to the fact that Cara Delevigne "reincarnates" into Empress Elisabeth of Austria and Pharrell Williams into Emperor Franz Joseph I.
At the same time, they both play second characters, Cara Delevigne as a waitress and Pharrell Williams as a bell boy, with Geraldine Chaplin playing Coco Chanel as well and being on holiday in 1954, in Austria.
This was the time when Coco Chanel inspired herself to make Chanel's trademark jacket, which is a similar one to the one Pharrell Williams uses as a bell boy.
These two times in history are shifted, as they have the waitress and bell boy jobs during the day and in the night, they reincarnate into the historical figures, which Cara Delevigne took to her Instagram account to put the pictures to compare.
"CC The World" is the main song during the entire close to 8 minute film and is composed by Pharrell Williams. Also, and coincidentally, Sisi is the name that the Emperor had for the Empress.
Said song is not only composed especially for Chanel, but also sang by Pharrell Williams during most of it, and then close to the end, Cara Delevigne sings a part of it as well.
Apparently, this is the first time she sang and she did it quite well. According to News.com.au, though, the entirety of the film with the acting, dancing and even singing, was simply awkward and "creepy."
Most people praised the entire film, directed by Karl Lagerfeld, and also Cara Delevigne's voice. So, it'll be a matter of waiting and seeing if she'll show her talent further than Chanel.
