After last year's insanely sweet and popular "Toy Story of Terror Halloween" special in 2013, there's now a new Toy Story special on ABC ... and this time, for those who love Christmas!
Are audiences witnessing the first steps of a new holiday movie tradition? While "A Charlie Brown Christmas" is the ultimate holiday classic for cartoon fans, it wouldn't be a surprise if the new Toy Story special on ABC created a base for yet another holiday classic, starring Pixar favorites like Woody the cowboy, forgetful astronaut Buzz Lightyear and all their band of awesome toys.
To infinity and beyond!
According to Time Magazine, one of the best things about the new Toy Story special on ABC is the fact that it not only brings back some of the most beloved characters of the franchise, but it also introduces some new ones - as well as continuing the story from last year's "Toy Story on Terror Halloween."
The new Toy Story special on ABC is called "Toy Story That Time Forgot," according to Classicalite. It's focused on Trixie the Triceratops, a character first introduced in the third installment of the famous toy franchise, which is voiced by Kristen Schaal (famous for her roles in "30 Rock" and "Flight of the Conchords")
Of course, the recent Toy Story special on ABC also featured the beloved actors that have given life to Andy's toys for almost 20 years now, since the first "Toy Story" was released in 1995: Tom Hanks and Tim Allen are ever-present as toy best friends, now owned by cute little girl Bonnie, since the end of "Toy Story 3."
