Mickey Rourke Returns To Boxing - The last time Mickey Rourke fought in a boxing ring professionally was in the 1990's. Now, he's returning and doing so in Russia.

The fight will take place this month in Moscow. Mickey Rourke, 62, will be fighting against Elliot Seymour, who's 29. They will fight ahead of another match that will feature Ruslan Provodnikov and Jose Luis Castillo, the Daily Mail reported.

The actor is more than excited to fight once again after such a long time.

"Boxing is a serious part of my life. It taught me respect and determination, patience and concentration. I always dreamed of fighting a match in Russia," Rourke shared and CTV News noted.

Rourke was an amateur boxer from 1964 to 1973. Over these nine years, he got a 27-3 record. And Seymour is currently 1-8 in his career. This would look like Mickey Rourke has more points in favor, but his career in boxing ended at the age of 21 at the time.

Then, the actor made a comeback in the 1990's and it was during those few years when his face lost its original form and he had to get surgery. He was a sex symbol before that, becoming especially famous after starring in "Nine and a Half Weeks" along with Kim Basinger.

According to USA Today, Mickey Rourke has been training with Freddie Roach for this return to boxing. Roach trained him before. He was actually the one who helped him out during his comeback in the 1990's.

In 2008, the actor made a sort of comeback in fiction. He didn't play a boxer, but did play a wrestler in "The Wrestler," directed by Darren Aronofsky. The movie was nominated to two Oscars, as matter of fact and Rourke's role was praised.

Now, six year later, it looks like Mickey Rourke is doing an actual second comeback to the boxing ring on Nov. 28.
