A New ‘Cinderella’ Movie Will Be Released On March 2015

Fairy tale movie adaptation fans should not wait further for another fairy tale inspired movie because another live action romantic fantasy film will be in the big screen. "Cinderella" is an upcoming movie directed by Kenneth Branagh, written by Chris Weitz and produced by Simon Kinberg and David Barron and Allison Shearmur. The film is inspired by Charles Perrault's Cinderella and Walt Disney's Cinderella animated film.

This movie adaptation will be the third "Cinderella" movie inspired, other movie with the same concept are 1998 Ever After and 2004 A Cinderella Story.

Lily James will play the role of Ella, Cate Blanchett will play the role of Lady Tremaine the wicked stepmother, Richard Madden will play the role of Kit, Sophie McShera will play the role of Drisella, Holliday Grainger will play the role of Anastasia and Helena Bonham Carter will play the role of the Fairy Godmother.

Patrick Doyle was confirmed to be the one who will do the music scoring for the movie adaptation. Aside from Cinderella, Doyle also scored other Branagh's movies such as Thor and Hamlet.

The post-production began in December 2013 and it was completed in August 2014. The movie adaptation was rated PG by the MPAA.

The movie's official trailer debuted on Good Morning America on Nov. 19, 2014. Compare to the movie's other trailer, the official trailer runs for two and a half minutes and it contains scenes from the movie.

Just recently, Annie Leibovitz had a photoshoot for Branagh's adaptation "Cinderella" its new poster. Leibovitz shot the image dramatically which show James take flight in her beautiful, blue ball gown and the most important glass slipper is also visible in the image. The movie poster was also released on Nov. 19, 2014. This Cinderella dramatic image was not Leibovitz first time work with Disney. She already shot the Disney Dream Portraits for Year which also features big stars like Scarlett Johansson.

Cinderella will be released on March 13, 2015 in different theatres.
