Ever since The Rolling Stones first became a worldwide sensation in the 60s during the British rock Invasion, Keith Richards and drugs have often come in the same sentence, as he's become one of the most famous faces of drug use - so much was the case that even Mick Jagger's kids were scared straight from using substances due to their dad's friend and bandmate.
The variety of Keith Richards' drug use has been documented ever since the 60s, mostly by himself: over the years, he has candidly admitted to having used many illegal substances, including heroin, a fact for which he was arrested in Canada back in 1977.
While everyone in the world has seen Keith Richards' drug use as a tale of caution, it seems that even those in his inner circle were scared of ending up like he was back in the day.
According to The Daily Mail, Mick Jagger's ex wife, Jerry Hall, has recently stated that her children with the Rolling Stone singer were scared off substance abuse after seeing Keith Richards' drug use make the famous guitar player end up "passed out on the couch" of the Jagger residence during a good part of their childhood.
Hall, a former model, has spoken candidly about how her children with Jagger have grown up to be free of substance abuse, even though they were raised surrounded by some of the most hardcore addicts from rock 'n roll, including The Rolling Stones classic guitar player Richards.
According to Page Six, Jagger and Hall's kids - 30 year-old Elizabeth, 29 year-old James, 22 year-old Georgia and 16 year-old Gabriel - have grown up to be very grounded people and haven't followed at all the steps of their dad's pals, including the well-publicized Keith Richards drug use.
Even though the four kids were the sons and daughters of one of the most legendary figures of rock 'n roll, they still went through a strict upbringing where they had bedtimes and had to get up at a certain time, according to London's Time.
So there's definitely a way for the children of rock stars to end up healthy!
