Meet the Millers Cancelled Four Episodes Later, Did CBS Pull The Plug Too Early?

Meet the millers cancelled. Sadly, meet the Millers, a sitcom that was finally gaining its footing has been cancelled. CBS cancels the Millers after only four episodes were aired due to poor ratings.

CBS cancels the Millers, causing a huge public outcry. The Millers, which remains a popular sitcom for most of its fans from Season 1, have gone to social media to try and convince CBS to reinstate the sitcom. The news of Meet the Millers cancelled has truly dealt the sitcom lovers a deathly blow.

Meet the Millers was a sitcom that starred Will Arnett as a young man trying to get over his parents' divorce. His parents are played by Margo Martindale and Beau Bridges. The show was cancelled just a few weeks into its second season after only four episodes were aired. The show's final episode is said to air on Monday.

The Millers initially had a Thursday night slot after the ending of Two Broke Girls. However, the show did not pick momentum and had to be moved to Monday night. The move only went to hurt the ratings of the show even further, possibly leading to the cancellation of the show. Meet the Millers cancelled may, however, mean good news for the sitcom Mike and Molly, which is sitting in the sidelines. There is no word on whether CBS will replace the sitcom with Mike & Molly.

The cancellation of Meet the Millers is in many ways similar to when ABC cancelled Selfie, another sitcom that was largely considered to be finding its footing on prime time television. The sitcom had only aired for four episodes with its final one having aired last week.

The latest outing by Meet the Millers drew a crowd of 6.48 million, a drop from the 8.93 million and the series premier of 13 million from last season. Such poor ratings are  the reason why CBS declared that Meet the Millers was cancelled.
