Robert Swift, NBA - Robert Swift, 28, was charged with a gun crime after the police raided a house in which the former player was staying.

Robert Swift was selected to play for the NBA when was only 18, straight out of school. He played for the Seattle Sonics and the Oklahoma City Thunder.

The former player spent for years as part of the NBA, as NESN noted. In 2009, they renounced their rights on the player. He tried to make a comeback in 2010 with the Tokyo Apaches from Japan, but the team was dissolved in 2011.

Since 2009, though, Robert Swift's been falling hard.

In this opportunity, what happened was that police raided Trygve Bjorkstam's house last month. Robert Swift was staying there as his house went into foreclosure in 2013.

Bjorkstam was a drug dealer and among the uncovered items were: heroin, meth, guns, a grenade luncher and even, several prostitutes.

Upon entering Swift's bedroom, the grenade launcher and a sawed-off shotgun were found, Daily Mail noted. Due to this, the ex-NBA player was charged on Thursday with unlawful possession of guns.

The former player denied being involved in the dealing of the drugs, but did admit having drug paraphernalia in his bedroom and possessing the guns.

As for Bjorkstam, he admitted "dealing heroin and meth; also building a gun range in a bunker he dug under his home to house marijuana grow," the report was released by the Business Insider.

"I should just die. My life is over... I'd probably be better off dead," the drug dealer said on the matter.

In addition, he described Robert Swift as a "good guy" and not involved in the drug dealing.

"People have been ripping me off. Rob and I are trying to put a stop to that," Bjorkstam revealed about the ex-NBA player.

Before this entire situation, Robert Swift had already been part of another mishap when he got kicked off his house and the new owners described the awful conditions in which it was left by the ex-NBA player who seemed to have a wonderful future.
