Make Your Own Burger - McDonald's is offering a new way to ensure they deliver the needs of their customers. And part of this is a new marketing strategy tested earlier in Illinois and California, the Make- Your- Own- Burger.
This time, the largest fastfood chain in the world is making an entry to its Castle Hill, Sydney Australia branch. Castle Hill is pioneering make-your-own-burger as before it will be rolled out to other Australian stores by Jan. 2015.
Aside from make-your-own-burger, McDonald's is transforming from its usual plastic trays and counter service as it goes gourmet with mini chip baskets and wooden boards.
In Make-Your-Own- Burger, customers can choose among McDonald's 19 ingredients displayed on its automated kiosk. You can choose the type of payment, type of bun, cheese, bacon, sauce, onion and much more.
"McDonald's is innovating and changing again to meet the needs of our customers, McDonald's Australia CEO Andrew Gregory said.
In McDonald's gourmet style, customers can wait for the order to be served in whichever seat available on the kiosk screen.
Make-Your-Own- Burger looks really impressive as customer's can also choose a lot of extra's for the burger including extra cheeses, egg, guacamole, pineapple, sauces, tomato, grilled onions, gherkins, lettuce, red onion, mushrooms, and tortilla strips.
Burgers begin at AU $8.95 (US $7.80,) where customers can add fries and a drink A meal with medium drinks and fries could cost around $15.95 (£8.70).
From the time Make-Your-Own- Burger was tested in some areas, McDonald's is receiving a lot of positive notes about the newest service.
Gregory added, McDonald's is innovating and remodeling to the changing needs of their customers.
As sales of McDonald's have been declining from the last quarters, Make-your-own-burger is one strategy that could beat up the rest of its competitors. Tailoring the needs of the customers will surely deliver good results.
