Plot Kill Queen Elizabeth was uncovered by British police when terrorists attempted to assassinate Queen Elizabeth II.
The four Islamic terrorists were created a plot to kill Queen Elizabeth and was foiled by the British police officers Friday, reported New York Post.
The plan was thwarted to be carried out in an annual British jubilee, a lead up event for Remembrance Sunday as the country celebrated 96 years since the end World War I in 1918. The anarchist assassins' plot: stab her Royal Highness.
British police identified the assassins ranging from 19 to 27 years old and were going to use knife as their weapon but according to reports to the cops, the young assassins have also access to firearms. British police foiled the plot to kill Queen Elizabeth by conducting several raids in West London and Buckinghamshire the night before the planned assassination, reported The Sun.
Officials informed the beloved 88-year old monarch and Prime Minister David Cameron about the plot to kill Queen Elizabeth. Despite of the threat, the Queen still plans to attend the weekend festivities to lay the first wreath at Sunday Remembrance celebration after a two-minute moment of silence.
The Queen is no stranger to death threats and assassination plots. In 1970, the Lithgow Plot to her Royal Highness and husband, Philip was attempted when the royal couple was traveling from Sydney to Orange. The train struck a large wooden log which was believed to be placed by the assassins in hopes that it would derail the train. Luckily, the train was moving in slow speed than usual that moment averting crisis and saving the lives of the Queen and King.
Queen Elizabeth has reigned for more than 50 years assuming the crown at age 25.
