Lasagna At Bruce Springsteen’s? Why Not! A Person Paid $300,000 To Do So

Springsteen, Lasagna - On Wednesday night, the 8th annual Stand Up For Heroes charity concert took place. And Bruce Springsteen gained most of the bids.

The event was held at the Madison Square Garden and it raised more than $1 million, according to NY Daily News. From that sum, Springsteen raised alone $600,000. Meaning, more than half of the total was gained by the artist.

What was in auction from Springsteen's part? It started out by offering a guitar lesson of one hour.

"You may have a guitar lesson or simply waste my time," the singer and player joked when the offer was done. Then, he also offered a ride in the sidecar of his motorcycle.

And apparently, this was a much acclaimed offer as Gawker mentioned that two bidders threw an extra $50,000 when that one was announced.

But the cherry of the cake and what took two bidders to each one offer $300,000 was the lasagna. As a last resort, Springsteen offered to have lasagna at his home as a dinner date.

Surprisingly, one person offered to bid $300,000 on the lasagna date if another bidder would offer another $300,000 for the rest of the package. The deal was shockingly closed.

To close the successful night, Springsteen performed five acoustic songs, including "Dancing in the Dark" and "Growin' Up."

Well, it will be a certainly interesting day the fans will spend with Bruce Springsteen in his house, going for a ride through New Jersey in his motorcycle and to close the night in the best way possible, with a lasagna dinner.

One fan paid $300,000 alone for the mentioned dinner date. Bruce Springsteen, being well-known in the music industry, offering a guitar lesson made all the sense in the world.

The lasagna is a little bit more bizarre, but one thing that can't be denied is that it was a huge hit!
