Welsh Man Eating Face Eyeball: It's not every day that a person decides to 'imitate' Hannibal Lecter, the famous character who was a cannibal. It happened that a man in Wales took a girl to his room and did exactly that, it seems.

The incident took place in the town of Argoed, located in Sirhowy Valley in South Wales. Inside the Sirhowy Arms Hotel was staying Matthew Williams, 34, whose identity has been revealed by the neighbors but not formally by the police.

Apparently, the town in Wales is a very quiet one and these sort of situations don't happen, so most people were apparently shocked as they found out, The Daily Mail reported.

Of course, there are always two sides to every story and another neighbor wasn't exactly surprised. She said that police come and go all the time through the streets near the hotel, so something was bound to happen at some point.

The situation in question was that the Welsh man invited a girl for a drink in his room. They hadn't met before that night and she agreed, NY Daily News noted.

Then, at some point, Security came to his room and knocked on the door to tell him "no girls" at his room. He didn't answer and when they went in, they found him "eating her eyeball and half of her face," according to The Mirror.

"He went Hannibal Lecter on the woman, he gauged her eyeball out, ate them and ate half her face," Lynn Beasley, a neighbor, said.

"He had just been released from prison and was high on coke," she added. The Welsh man was indeed serving time in prison. He had already served two and a half years.

Beasley wasn't the only one who claimed the welsh man was found eating her eyeball and half of her face. A security guard from the hotel gave the same report.

The Gwent police was called at 1.23 am after the security from the welsh hotel found the man in this position with the woman. After the incident, he got tasered, and died afterwards. The female victim had died before.
